Take a few minutes to watch our video brief to get the full picture on training and development, designed to meet the needs of the resource industry.

As Australian employers adjust to the provision of the Fair Work Act, there has been a strong demand for training to attract, retain and up skill staff as well as address organisational challenges and meet strategic goals. AMMA Training and Development has had particularly strong demand for customised courses delivered in the areas of Supervisor Skills Development, Equal Employment Opportunity Awareness Sessions, Right of Entry and Fair Work Act training.

AMMA’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status enables AMMA to offer a number of nationally recognised qualifications including Frontline Management, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Training and Assessment, Occupational Health and Safety and Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII09) qualifications.  AMMA’s RTO has had strong activity in the delivery of Nationally Recognised Training courses with member companies through partnerships as well as delivery of low cost training through the government funded courses.

AMMA Training & Development also runs an Advisory Committee which meets quarterly providing a platform for members to be informed of upcoming training trends, voice issues, shape AMMAs training policy and lobbying efforts. This group is also an opportunity to network with colleagues within the same field of operations, to discuss common issues of importance and to exchange information about challenges and opportunities.
